#Mozilla thunderbird install#
When we install Sunbird, we put the appropriate file into /opt/sfw and bunzip2 and untar it. For example, if you untar a Firefox tarred package in /opt/sfw, it will create a firefox subdirectory there and you can run firefox from that directory with. Some users have found that it is easier to use the tarred form of the files. If this happens, you will need to move the Firefox files to your other directory and relink /opt/sfw to it. Some users have reported that if the directory /opt/sfw is actually a link to some other directory, when you run pkgadd to install these packages, it will delete the link and create a new /opt/sfw directory. The Firefox and Thunderbird packages install the programs in /opt/sfw subdirectories via the following steps, run as root.
#Mozilla thunderbird update#
You may want to update to 29.0.1 or 30.0 or higher, which we hope has corrected the issue.
